Electromagnetic induction switch.
The magnet is mounted under the car door and aim at control point on the led door sills. When you open the door, the door sill panels will light up and display the name and logo of the vehicle (and the LED door sill panels will turn off as the door closed).
1. Any words / text / pattern / image; e.g., your name, store / company logo, carton logo, model words, etc. can be customized.

It will light up when the door is opened, and then automatically turn off after displaying all lighting modes in two cycles (the LED door sill panels also turn off as the door closed). It will light up again as the door open.
Generally, solid color keep light up for about 1 minute, and 3 minutes for multi color. The duration of the light is proportional to the length of the door sill pedal. The longer the door sill pedal, the longer the light could stay on.
1. Batteries are not included in this product list. You'll need to prepare 3pcs AA batteries for per door sill before hand.
2. Do not directly connect the battery door sill to over 4.5V voltage (e.g., car battery, car factory cords).
3. LED Door Sills are not the OEM part (not factory door sill). We just customize more car accessories for your vehicle to let it more attractive.
4. Different models have different shape and size of door sill, so as their installation methods. For some models, the factory door sill can be directly covered by the LED door sill panels, while other models might need to disassemble the factory door sill and replace it with LED door sill pedals.
5. The acrylic door sill pedals couldn't cover the curved area of the door steps.
1. Get the AA batteries ready then put them into the battery box see if the led door sill is well-function.
2. Tear off the 3M tape on the back of the door sill pedal, and attach the door sill pedal to the install location.
3. Be aware there's a small magnet that comes with the battery door sills, which need to attach to the bottom of the door, aiming at control point on the led door sills. Suggesting to identify the control point before installation.
